CAST & Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River, OR are about to put on their winter play. This year the play is It’s A Wonderful Life! More than just a play, they are trying to recreate the experience of attending a live radio broadcast in the 1940’s.The Hood River News has a pretty cool article about all the work that’s gone into it.

This family-friendly holiday CAST 2014 production will bring new meaning and sounds to the Bedford Falls story of good will and cheer. “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” is a fully-staged take on a timeless classic – just like you heard it on the radio – and imagined it in 1948!
The production will include vintage radio commercials, and music of the holiday season. So celebrate the season or joy and be reminded once more that, “It’s a Wonderful Life!”
This is an all ages shows! Tickets $18 for adults, $15 for students and seniors 62+, Children 11 and under $10, Groups of 10 or more $12, Family Ticket price: (2 adults and 2 students/children) $50
